Let's Take a Ride
Transform your SSR125 into a high-performance electric pit bike with our professionally engineered QS138 Electric Conversion System. Designed specifically around the SSR125 chassis, this conversion eliminates the fabrication normally associated with QS138 builds by using CNC-machined mounting components that create a clean, factory-style installation.
Unlike most electric conversions, the standard controller configuration is completely bolt-on, requiring zero fabrication. Every major mounting component has been designed, tested, and refined through real-world riding—not just computer modeling. If you're comfortable using basic hand tools and tackling basic wiring, you'll have everything needed to complete the mechanical installation.
Whether you're building a trail bike, a street-focused machine, or something in between, the gearing can be tailored to match your riding style.
The controller mounts to the front of the battery plate, creating the easiest installation possible.
Benefits include:
For most builders, this is the recommended configuration.
For a cleaner, factory-style appearance, the controller can be mounted beneath the fuel tank.
This option includes:
Please note that this configuration requires modification of the fuel tank and is intended for builders looking for the cleanest finished appearance.
The recommended front motor sprocket depends on your rear wheel size and intended riding style.

A larger rear wheel effectively raises the overall gearing, making a smaller front sprocket the better choice.

Not sure which gearing is right for your build? Let us know your rear wheel size and riding goals, and we'll recommend the best setup.
Performance depends on rider weight, terrain, riding style, and gearing.
With our recommended street-oriented gearing, expect approximately:
Lower gearing provides stronger acceleration and climbing ability, while taller gearing increases top speed. This allows the bike to be configured for everything from technical trail riding to fast road use.
During moderate trail riding, we've exceeded 30 miles on a single charge while still having approximately 25% battery remaining. Aggressive riding and extended full-throttle use will reduce range.
The conversion is designed to work with the factory hydraulic brake system and stock suspension components. No suspension modifications are required.
The mechanical installation has been simplified as much as possible. The electrical system can be as simple or as advanced as you choose.
A basic running bike requires only the essential wiring, while the FarDriver controller also supports advanced features such as reverse, regenerative braking, displays, anti-theft functions, multiple ride modes, and additional accessories for builders wanting more customization.
Programming tutorials and installation videos will continue to be added to help builders get the most from their conversion.
